Pokémon Redouble

Pokémon Redouble is a fan-game that focuses on Double Battles. It follows a standard Pokémon adventure where you get a Starter Pokémon, set out and collect eight Gym Badges, and become the Champion of the region. Maybe even stop some bad guys along the way. No unique gimmick or new mechanic, just your typical Pokémon gameplay for those who want something familiar and recognizable.

The goal of this project is to create a Pokémon game that is streamlined and convenient to play through. The game uses the updated mechanics and system of Generation 8 and 9 (Sword/Shield/Scarlet/Violet) with some tweaks. The game is also targeted towards more experienced players of Pokémon games, generally speaking.

To keep things simple: no extra mechanics such as Mega-Evolution, Z-Moves, Dynamax, and Terastallization are in the game.

*The demo has the first two gyms and ends in a forest area.

Content so far includes:
-Pokémon up to Generation 9 (excluding regional variants and their evolutions)
-Updated evolution methods (trade evolutions changed to level up and other changes)
-Little to no grinding (Rare Candies can be bought after 1st Gym for low price)
-TMs are unlimited use
-Other things too

This is made using Pokémon Essentials v21.1. Special thanks to Maruno and everyone else who contributed to creating this amazing toolkit.
